Self-Love Meditation: Stress & Anxiety Relief

This meditation series is designed to empower you to provide compassion and self-care to that shining soul within and LOVE the life you live. 


As we move forward into action and change this spring, we have the opportunity to begin new projects and create transformation and change in our lives. However, as our lives pick up motion and speed, it’s equally important to take time to de-stress and unwind. Without giving ourselves this precious time to completely relax and let go, we can become burnt out before we even begin. This month’s meditation is designed to help you let go of unwanted stress or anxiety in your life and sync into a state of total peace and healing so you can continue your week fully recharged with an abundance of energy and vitality. This meditation will utilize visualization and body relaxation techniques, breath-work and Kundalini Meditative techniques** to help your body and mind unwind and fill your soul with clarity and power. 

**Kundalini Yoga is a technology brought to the US from India by Yogi Bhajan and helps you access greater life-force energy and vitality through breath work, physical postures and chanting. 

Prem Dasi is a Certified NGH Consulting Hypnotist, Meditation Instructor and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She has taught meditation techniques at centers and retreats around the world including The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies.

As a Life Coach and NGH Certified Hypnotist, my transformation from working in the marketing and non-profit world to studying healing arts was not a straight and narrow path. It all started back when I had recently graduated from my undergraduate studies from Boston University and was working to make a change in the world. At the time, I was also struggling to discover who I was and how I could truly make a difference in the lives of those around me. Having suffered from waves of depression most of my teenage and adult life, I hit an all time low while living and working in Washington, DC.

I was utterly confused about my path and life purpose in the world. It was at that exact point that I started to discover meditation and the plethora of self-help and spiritual resources available at my disposal to revolutionize the life I was living. I dove deep into regular meditation, eventually creating my own meditation community focused on studying how to create a healthy mind-body balance.

Through undergoing intensive self-work and healing, I discovered how I had hit such an all time low. I had stopped dancing, stopped painting, stopped creating and basically cut off all the things in life that gave me JOY. Though I was working for a company with a noble mission, I was disconnected from my place in that mission and the work I was doing. After this realization, I made it a point to never let myself get that low emotionally, spiritually or physically ever again. I quickly began to learn a variety of holistic tools to help me deal with my extreme emotional imbalances and eventually discovered my calling to create healing spaces for others who suffered from the same emotional upheavals, lack of connection to their unique identity and an inability to truly love themselves. That was a big one for me. I made a commitment to myself to learn how to TRULY LOVE MYSELF and have spent these last several years studying how to love the skin I am in and truly shine in the world.
