An evening of improvised music to the sounds of traditional Chinese Guzheng, Tibetan bells, and electro-acoustic soundscapes performed by guitarist Mar Hobbs and musician/vocalist eVe Buigues. Artist/writer Patsy Moore will guide the listener through a journey of self discovery and expansion, promoting deep relaxation and inner peace.
eVe Buigues is a versatile musician/vocalist and composer. Born and raised in Paris, France, she studied composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Her latest release, Space-Dancer: Music and Chants for Yoga & Meditation, features traditional Chinese instruments tastefully mixed with spacious electronic soundscapes. Each track was created like a painting, layered with sonic elements, textured from moment to moment. eVe is currently recording a new album with renowned Iranian sitar player, Shaba Motallebi, due for release in 2019. She composes music for film and TV while producing her own albums and lives and works in Los Angeles. During sound bath meditation, eVe will play a Chinese sitar (Guzheng) alongside Patsy Moore and Mar Hobbs. They will also perform a few tracks from Space-Dancer.
